Froyle Park was Frederica and Amit's wedding in September 2023. A fusion wedding with two ceremonies and more than one change of outfit across a long day, which is the kind of day the estate is good at. The house has a grand hall with height and light for the ceremony, and lawns and a terrace that carry the drinks and the evening. There is room to keep moving without anything feeling rushed.
Bury Court Barn is the other side of Hampshire's character. A converted threshing barn on a thirty-acre estate, oak beams and stone walls inside, a pergola in the gardens for outdoor ceremonies. I filmed a June wedding there in 2025.
What the two share is a relaxed shape to the day and coordinators who know how to run one. I follow the day rather than a shot list, and when I see something worth a couple of minutes, a walk through the gardens at Froyle in the last of the light, I suggest it. The couples I work best with trust me enough to say yes.

I started this because when I got married in 2015, we didn't have a videographer. I wanted to build something I wished had existed for us. Films that hold up years later. A real record of a real day, not a montage of prompted moments.
I handle the consultation, the filming, the edit, the grade, and the delivery. I film a limited number of weddings a year, and I'm personally at every one.

Hampshire weddings I have filmed have been single-site days. Ceremony in the hall or under the pergola, drinks outside, dinner in the barn or the house, dancing in the same room. The village church followed by a marquee at home is the other common shape in this part of the country, and it is one I film often across the south.
Guests are mostly coming from London and the south coast, so the day tends to start mid-morning and run late. Summer evenings here are long and the last hour of light on a west-facing lawn is worth planning around.
These are venues with a strong visual character of their own. The house at Froyle does not need dressing to look like itself on film.
Many wedding videographers arrive with a shot list. I don't. I arrive early, stay quiet, and pay attention. The film comes from what actually happens. I might offer the occasional quiet prompt when it matters, but I'm not staging moments or running through the same poses as everyone else.
I tend to work with couples based in and around London who want something honest. A real record of a real day. Not a highlight reel built from the same five moments as everyone else's.
I film fifteen weddings a year. That number lets me edit every film personally, respond to every email myself, and still show up fully present on your day. Every frame graded and cut by me. No outsourced editing. No house style.

If your ceremony is outdoors, stand in the spot at the time of day you will be standing there. Where the sun is at two o'clock matters more than where it is at ten.
Leave twenty unstructured minutes after the ceremony before the drinks formally start. It is when people actually greet each other and it is where the best faces in the film come from.
If you are doing church then reception, tell me the route. I usually leave ahead of you and film your arrival, then pick up the cars on the way in.
Ask your venue what they need from suppliers on drones. I check airspace and venue rules for every wedding and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth it at your site.
