One filmmaker. One camera. The full arc of your day — from the quiet getting ready to the evening celebrations. Filming at country houses and private estates across the UK.

Many wedding videographers arrive with a shot list. I don't. I arrive early, walk the grounds, read the light. Most of the day I'm observing. But if I see something worth trying - a shot, a moment, a bit of light that won't last - I'll suggest it. The couples I work best with are the ones who trust me enough to say yes.
I tend to work with couples based in and around London who want something honest. A real record of a real day. Not a highlight reel built from the same five moments as everyone else's.
I film fifteen weddings a year. That number lets me edit every film personally, respond to every email myself, and still show up fully present on your day. Every frame graded and cut by me. No outsourced editing. No house style.
Weddings per year, by design, not accident
A single point of contact — always me
Years filming at UK country houses and private estates
The ceremony is twenty minutes. The speeches are forty. The day has a hundred small moments that happen without anyone calling them out.
I use multiple cameras for the ceremony and speeches to cover every angle quietly. The rest of the day, I stay close but out of the way.
01
A call to understand your day; the venue, the shape of the timeline, who you want on film. No hard sell. Just a conversation.
02
I arrive during preparation and stay until well after the first dance. I follow the day. Sometimes I'll suggest something - a walk, a pause, a look. It's always quick, always worth it.
03
Every film is graded and edited by me. Teasers land within a couple of weeks. The full film follows once it's right.
04
You'll forget the sound of your dad's voice during the speech. The way the room went quiet before you walked in. The look on their face when they saw you. The film remembers.
I'm Chris Oxley. I film weddings at country houses and private estates across the UK.
I started this because when I got married in 2015, we didn't have a videographer. I wanted to build something I wished had existed for us. Films that hold up years later. A real record of a real day, not a montage of prompted moments.
I handle the consultation, the filming, the edit, the grade, and the delivery. Fifteen weddings a year, and I'm personally at every one.
