One filmmaker. One camera. The full arc of your day; from the quiet getting ready to the evening celebrations. Filming at country houses and private estates across the UK.

Many wedding videographers arrive with a shot list and run you through the same poses as everyone else. I don't work that way, but I'm not hiding in the background either. I'm there with you through the day: easy to be around, reading what's happening, and happy to guide you when it helps. A walk, a pause, a moment worth making. It takes a minute, it never feels staged, and it's almost always the footage you're glad we got.
I work best with couples who are comfortable on camera, or want to be. You don't have to be a natural, putting you at ease is part of the job. What we're after is the same thing: a real record of a real day, not a highlight reel built from the same five moments as everyone else's.
I take on a limited number of weddings a year. That lets me edit every film personally, reply to every email myself, and show up fully present on your day. Every frame graded and cut by me. No outsourced editing. No house style.

Each couple trusted me to tell their story honestly. Here's what that looks like.
"We knew when we first met you, you were the right man for the job. The time you've taken to get to know us and then somehow create these edits that match our personalities is just crazy. These films are so much more than we were even expecting."
"God, I love how colourful it all looks. You’ve really managed to capture the spirit of the day. The wedding film is so beautiful and edited so well."
OMG OMG OMG! Wow - we are both sitting here in tears.
Chris captured our story with our friends and families in the most beautiful, thoughtful, and sensitive way.
"Working with Chris was a dream come true!"
The ceremony is twenty minutes. The speeches are forty. The day has a hundred small moments that happen without anyone calling them out.
I use proper microphones to catch every word during the ceremony and speeches. The rest of the day I'm close by and easy with, present enough to put you at ease, never in your face.

A call to understand your day; the venue, the shape of the timeline, who you want on film. No hard sell. Just a conversation.
02
I arrive during preparation and stay until well after the first dance. I follow the day, and I'll guide you when it helps; a walk, a pause, a look. It's always quick, never stiff, and always worth it.
03
Every film is graded and edited by me. Teasers land within a couple of weeks. The full film follows once it's right.

You'll forget the sound of your dad's voice during the speech. The way the room went quiet before you walked in. The look on their face when they saw you. The film remembers.
I'm Chris Oxley. I film weddings at country houses and private estates across the UK.
I started this because when I got married in 2015, we didn't have a videographer. I wanted to build something I wished had existed for us. Films that hold up years later. A real record of a real day, not a montage of prompted moments.
I handle the consultation, the filming, the edit, the grade, and the delivery. I film a limited number of weddings a year, and I'm personally at every one.
