Shilstone House sits in the hills of the South Hams near Modbury, a Georgian house restored with care and an intimate scale that suits smaller weddings. The views run across Devon for miles. I filmed an August wedding there in 2024 and the film will be on this page when it is published.
Devon and Cornwall weddings are destination weddings for everyone at them, and they have the feel of a holiday. Guests arrive the day before and stay after. The day itself is slower for it.
Cornwall and Somerset are covered by this page too. If your wedding is on a beach in Cornwall or in a Somerset barn, I am just as happy to come. I travel the day before for anything in the South West.

I started this because when I got married in 2015, we didn't have a videographer. I wanted to build something I wished had existed for us. Films that hold up years later. A real record of a real day, not a montage of prompted moments.
I handle the consultation, the filming, the edit, the grade, and the delivery. I film a limited number of weddings a year, and I'm personally at every one.

South West weddings are single-site days in the main, at a house or a farm with the ceremony on the grounds, or festival-style weekends in a field or on the coast with a marquee and a lot of moving parts. Both are long days. The light in Devon in summer runs late and the evening is often the best of it.
Many wedding videographers arrive with a shot list. I don't. I arrive early, stay quiet, and pay attention. The film comes from what actually happens. I might offer the occasional quiet prompt when it matters, but I'm not staging moments or running through the same poses as everyone else.
I tend to work with couples based in and around London who want something honest. A real record of a real day. Not a highlight reel built from the same five moments as everyone else's.
I film fifteen weddings a year. That number lets me edit every film personally, respond to every email myself, and still show up fully present on your day. Every frame graded and cut by me. No outsourced editing. No house style.

Give your guests the weekend. Devon is too far for a day trip and the wedding is better when nobody has a drive home in their head.
Coast and moor weather is its own thing. Have the indoor plan ready and make the call early.
Lanes in the South Hams are narrow. Ask the venue about coaches and parking before the guest list is fixed.
