Stirlingshire is a geography lesson. Stirling Castle dominates, but the landscape around it is layered - the threshold between Highlands and lowlands, moorland edge meeting rolling countryside. The River Forth winds through, creating valleys and sight lines. The light here has a particular clarity because you're elevated enough to escape lowland haze but still close enough to the south for softer shadows. I'm Chris Oxley. I film weddings at country houses and private estates across the UK.
I started this because when I got married in 2015, we didn't have a videographer. I wanted to build something I wished had existed for us. Films that hold up years later. A real record of a real day, not a montage of prompted moments.
I handle the consultation, the filming, the edit, the grade, and the delivery. Fifteen weddings a year, and I'm personally at every one.

Plan couple moments for late-afternoon light sweeping across the landscape. The River Forth is present at many venues creating water reflections - use these deliberately and position moments to include the natural sound of water.
